The soyabeans are ground & defatted with a pressure process - giving half-defatted soy-meal (5% fat) ; processed further and steam extruded into chunks.

Use as protein source in recipes. Best when marinated in a highly flavoured stock for 1-2hrs. -Cooking instructions: Use 1 part Textured Vegetable Protein to 2 parts liquid. Soak in stock before cooking to enhance flavour.
